England's Six Nations matches in Italy join coronavirus fixture casualties

England women's, men's and U20s Six Nations games against Italy have all been postponed due to the coronavirus.

The women's match was due to take place on March 15, with the men's scheduled the day before. The U20's was supposed to be played on March 13.

It was reported last night that all sporting events in Italy would either be called off or played behind closed doors.

The women's match was due to be played in the Stadio Plebiscito, which has a capacity of 10,000.

Ireland's match against Italy, which was due to go ahead this Sunday, was postponed due to the virus.

In a statement, the Six Nations wrote: "As previously stated, Six Nations fully intends to complete all 15 games across all three championships when time allows. We will refrain from making any rescheduling announcements while we keep assessing the situation."
