Wales name 14 uncapped players in squad for autumn tests

Wales head coach Rowland Phillips has named 14 uncapped players among the 34 selected for the upcoming autumn tests.

Wales are playing three away matches against Spain, Scotland and Ireland and are at home for Crawshays XV. The last game of the series is also at home when Wales face the Barbarians for the first time on November 31.

Phillips has said he wants to bring on younger players in time for the 2021 World Cup.

"We are already qualified for the 2021 Women's Rugby World Cup and our key aim is to build a squad of young players," he said. "This autumn series is a huge opportunity to do that."
