Wales rugby captain says the side are undaunted by France Six Nations clash

Wales rugby captain Siwan Lillicrap has said that her side are 'excited' to face France in their Six Nations match on Sunday.

Wales have not won a game in the tournament so far after suffering defeats to Italy and Ireland.

Despite France being one of the top four teams in the world, Lillicrap is 'confident' Wales can win.

"It will be a step up, they're a big side, they're going to come over here to look to win like every team does.

"But I'm confident with the things we worked on last week. We also need to remember where we are as a squad and how many new caps we had in the autumns.

"We're hopefully going to continue to get better and better each game. For me as a captain what is really rewarding is the girls' want and desire to learn and take on board what the coaches are saying.

"The training has gone well so we are excited to take on France."

Wales vs France kicks off on Sunday at midday.
