Tennis ace Serena Williams to spend six weeks in isolation

US tennis star Serena Williams has revealed that she will be spending the next six weeks in isolation due to coronavirus fears.

The 38 year-old, who has 23 Grand Slam titles to her name, announced the news on social media.

She wrote: "Spending the next 6 weeks in solitude. Being a wife. Being a mom. Cooking. Cleaning. Spring cleaning. Face mask. Makeup tutorials. I’ll let you know how it goes.... stay safe everyone. This is serious."

Williams' 2020 on-court season has been up and down as she got knocked out of the Australian Open third round against Wang Qiang in January. But a few weeks earlier she took home the ASB Classic title in the singles and doubles.
