Great Britain's Johanna Konta has been knocked out of the Monterrey Open in the semi-finals by Marie Bouzkova.

Not only has Konta not made the final but she was knocked out in straight sets.

Bouzkova won 6-3 6-4 with Konta attempting a comeback in the second set but couldn't quite pull it off.

Bouzkova will face Elina Svitolina in the final this evening after she demolished Arantxa Rus in straight sets, 6-0 6-1.

Svitolina said: "It's an amazing feeling and I feel like I'm playing at home. I'm really excited to be in the final."
