Newly-crowned Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin is among 14 Grand Slam winners set to compete in the Miami Open in March.

The 21-year-old American will be joined by world No. 1 Ashleigh Barty, 23-time Slam champion Serena Williams and teenage sensation Coco Gauff.

The other major winners that will travel to Florida are Simona Halep, Bianca Andreescu, Venus Williams, Svetlana Kuznetsova, Naomi Osaka, Garbiñe Muguruza, Victoria Azarenka, Petra Kvitova, Angelique Kerber, Sloane Stephens and Jelena Ostapenko.

In fact, all of the top 72 currently in the WTA rankings will feature at the Miami Open in what promises to be an exceptionally high quality tournament.

Another youngster to watch aside from Gauff will be American Amanda Anisimova who reached the semi-finals at Roland Garros last year, only to be beaten by eventual champion Barty.

And it is the Australian who will be looking to defend the title she picked up last year when the hard court event kicks off on March 24.

The total prize money on offer in Miami is set to exceed $8,750,000.
