Tottenham sign Kerys Harrop ahead of the 2020/21 WSL season
Tottenham Hotspur have announced the signing of Kerys Harrop ahead of the Women’s Super League 2020/21 season.
The 29 year-old defender has come from Birmingham City where she made 132 appearances after making her senior debut at 15 years-old.
She was part of the squad who won the FA Cup in 2012 and in the same year were runners-up in the WSL.
She said: "Coming to Spurs is a very exciting challenge for me and I know that the Club are heading in a positive direction.
"I want to continue to develop as a player under the management of Karen [Hills] and Juan [Amoros], and give my all to the Club both on and off the pitch.
“Having previously played in FA Cup finals and in the Champions League, I want to experience that again and I'm hopeful of doing that here at Spurs.”
Harrop has also worked her way through England’s youth level playing at both Under-19 and Under-20 level.
The WSL 2020/21 season is set to begin on September 5-6.
