Undisputed lightweight champion Katie Taylor has pledged to post a series of home workout videos for fans to get involved in during the coronavirus lockdown.

The first video from the Irish superstar shows her putting in the hard yards as she continues her own training.

She said: "Hi all, I will be posting a series of boxing circuits over the next few weeks that you can do at home without equipment. Here is the first instalment. I hope you enjoy it. Stay safe, healthy and strong."

And UFC star Conor McGregor responded to the video saying: "Champion! [Shamrock] Thank you Katie, going to give this a go tonight! #StayActive"

Taylor is scheduled to fight Amanda Serrano in Manchester on May 2, with no official announcement yet from the show's promoter Matchroom Boxing as to whether it is going ahead.

But Serrano came out yesterday to tell her supporters that the fight has been postponed due to the pandemic and will be re-scheduled for a later date.
