Watch: Chelsea players release video calling fans to donate to charity tackling domestic abuse

Chelsea have sent out a video to their fans asking them to donate to Refuge, a charity which is helping tackle domestic violence.

The Blues have promised to match the total donations accumulated over the next six weeks as they aim to tackle domestic abuse during the coronavirus crisis.

A number of players were involved in the video such as Beth England, Anita Asante and Olivier Giroud, while victims of abuse were also a part of the campaign.

Chelsea tweeted: "Domestic abuse is on the rise during this global pandemic. @RefugeCharity needs our help to continue their life-saving services.

"Please donate anything you can. Chelsea will be matching donations. Thank you."
