Watch: As Son Heung-min prepares for military duty, check out his best Champions League goals from 2019

Spurs and South Korea's Son Heung-min is set to undertake his four-week mandatory military service.

The 27 year-old had the length of his service reduced from 21 months to just four weeks after helping his national team secure the Asian Games in 2018.

And now he will fulfil that obligation of a month's duty as it needs to be completed by the time he is 28.

Son is currently recovering from a fractured arm, but would not be playing even if he was fully fit as all elite football in England is currently suspended until at least April 30.

The forward had a stellar 2019 with Tottenham, particularly in the Champions League where he bagged nine goals over the 12 months, playing a major part in their journey to the final in June.
