World Cup winner Megan Rapinoe and tennis star Johanna Konta included on most unfairly treated list

US football star Megan Rapinoe and British tennis player Johanna Konta have been named on an unfairly treated public figures list.

The list, which was compiled by online casino PlayOJO, included Konta because she was patronised by a journalist in her post-match interview at Wimbledon.

After the world number five's quarter-final loss to Barbora Strycova, a journalist asked her: "Do you not have to look at yourself a little bit about how you cope with those big points, because it's all very well saying it's a lot to do with your opponent, but there were key points when you could have perhaps done better?"

Konta replied: "I don't think you need to pick on me in a harsh way. I mean, I'm very open with you guys, and say how I feel out there, and if you don't want to accept that answer, or you don't agree with it, that's fine.

"But, I still believe in the tennis that I play, and I still believe in the way I competed, and yeah I don't have much more to say to your question."

Rapinoe was put on the list for the criticism she received after she advocated for LGBTQ+ rights.

Other public figures included on the list were The Queen, Meghan Markle, Oprah Winfrey, Greta Thunberg, Joe Gomez and Raheem Sterling.
