WWE star Asuka withdrew from last night's Raw match against Shayna Baszler due to an injury. 

The clash was set to be the first time the two NXT champions were in the ring but Asuka's WWE women's tag team champion partner Kairi Sane faced Baszler instead.

It has not been confirmed how she sustained the injury. She was involved in the women's elimination chamber contract signing last week but hasn't wrestled on TV since February. 

But the 38 year-old is still scheduled to compete in the Elimination Chamber match on March 8.
