Oldham have signed Wrexham midfielder Bobby Grant on a season-long loan deal.

The 30-year-old joins Harry Kewell’s Latics in League Two, having played in the division above with Accrington last season.

Grant, Wrexham’s top scorer during the 2019-20 campaign with eight goals in 31 appearances despite his loan to Stanley in January, is looking forward to playing under Kewell.

He told the club website: “The excitement I got from the gaffer in the way he wants to play, the style of play and the enthusiasm it was a no-brainer for me.

“I just can’t wait to get going in this new challenge. It’s been a long break because of what is going on in the world but as I say, I’m proper excited to go and meet the lads and get stuck into it.”
