Microsoft To End Windows 10 Support In 2025

Microsoft has said that it will stop supporting Windows 10 in 2025. There will be no new updates or security fixes for the Pro or Home versions from Oct. 14, 2025. The new version of the operating system will be one of the “most significant updates” its had in recent years. Details of the new operating system will be revealed at a virtual event at the end of the month. When Windows 10 was released in July 2015, CEO Satya Nadella said it marked a "new era" for personal computing. However, a month after its release many webcams stopped working and hundreds of users claimed that they lost files. According to the BBC, 79.4 million PCs were purchased in 2020.
