Sen. Blackburn Calls for Biden to Restart Controversial Keystone Pipeline

Fifteen months after the beginning of the pandemic lockdowns, more than 400,000 Americans have filed for first-time unemployment benefits this week on the heels of a worse than expected May jobs report. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) joined Cheddar to talk about the pandemic fallout and how it is still impacting the American workforce. Inflation was also a topic of conversation as the prices of services and goods continue to rise, and according to Blackburn, one way to address the issue is for President Joe Biden to restart the recently shuttered Keystone XL oil pipeline. She alleged that it would lead to a drop in prices at the pump that will ultimately help people and industries.
