Keon Johnson Breaks NBA Draft Combine Vertical Jump Record

Keon Jonhson broke an NBA Draft Combine record when he recorded a max vertical jump of 48 inches in the vertical jump drill. The freshman from Tennessee broke the previous combine record by two and a half inches. Kansas’ Kenny Gregory had held the previous record for the last 20 years. Gregory recorded a max vertical jump of 45.5 inches during the 2001 NBA Draft Combine but was never picked in the draft. Johnson also recorded an impressive standing vertical jump of 41.5 inches during the event. In his only collegiate season, the 19-year-old averaged 11.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 27 games.
