Radio One Breakfast DJ Greg James has hit out at the people ignoring government advice about social distancing.

James took to Twitter to voice his frustrations about individuals who are still socialising amid the coronavirus crisis.

"Socialising unnecessarily increases the chances that you’ll spread the virus to someone more vulnerable than you. OLD OR YOUNG.  

"That person could actually die. You could be infected and not know it. It’s mad that you’d go and sit in the pub with your mates knowing this."

The presenter has also emphasised that his role as a radio DJ is now more focused upon helping the vulnerable as him being on the radio is a voice for those self-isolating alone.
