Ipswich suffer Flynn Downes injury blow
Ipswich midfielder Flynn Downes is set to miss up to six weeks with a hamstring injury.
The 22-year-old academy graduate has made 17 appearances in all competitions for the Tractor Boys this season.
Downes was forced off 36 minutes into Saturday’s 1-0 home win against Plymouth and Ipswich have confirmed he “is set for a spell of four to six weeks on the sidelines following a hamstring injury”.
Town added: “Scans have now shown that Flynn has sustained a grade two hamstring strain on his right leg.”
