62 min: SUB! Jill Scott is making way for Manchester City as American Sam Mewis enters the fray.

61 min: Everton are certainly not shutting up shop and looking for a point here (or two if they win the penalty shoot-out). They’re pressing higher up and looking to win the ball in the City half.

Almost as if Willie Kirk wanted to condense this into a 30-minute game at the end.

59 min: CHANCE! Sorensen finds a bit of space to fire a shot in from the right hand side of the penalty area and Bardsley does well to parry behind!

56 min: City coming forward with real intent now as they look to turn this game on its head.

Scott finds Park inside the penalty area but it’s out for another corner. It’s swung in and Finnigan puts her body on the line to head clear. She gets a bang on the skull in the process and will get some treatment.

52 min: GOAL! It’s Rose Lavelle who flicks the ball in at the near post from a corner! We’re all square and the American has her first goal for the club!

50 min: Park escapes down the right-hand side again and her heel is clipped as she looks to bundle her way through a couple of challenges.

The free-kick is hit towards goal by Greenwood and JUST over the top of Korpela’s goal.

The Everton keeper acted as if she had that covered. She may have done, but that was close!

48 min: CHANCE! Park whips one in towards Lavelle but she doesn’t get a clean connection and Korpela can gather. That was danger but the American fluffs her lines in uncharacteristic fashion.

47 min: Immediately Kelly is on the ball again for City as she drifts in from the left-hand side and fires a shot in but it’s straight down the throat of Korpela.
