30 min: CHANCE! Real chance for Liverpool here. Babjide breaks for the visitors and her pace is causing all sorts of problems for that Everton back line.

She approaches the box and then lays an intelligent ball off to Thestrup. She lines up her shot and it’s struck firmly but straight into the arms of Korpela.

Has to make more of that.

32 min: Everton have lost the ball four or five times in the last couple of minutes.

Liverpool really starting to get back into the game now after a very slow start.

37 min: Kearns whips a nice free-kick into the box but there is no one there to head it back across goal. It’s clipped out for a corner but nothing comes of it and Christiansen shepherds the ball out for a goal kick.

39 min: Thestrup holds the ball up well and lays it off to Furness but her effort is blocked.

Babjide then escapes down the left and lifts a ball into the middle for Furness again. She controls and fires just wide of Korpela’s right-hand post.

Good spell of pressure from the visitors.

42 min: Great ball from Clinton is nodded down by Boye-Hlorkah and Christiansen tries a screamer on the volley but it’s high and wide.

Best piece of play the hosts have had for some time.
