59 min: YELLOW! Christiansen caught by Rachel Furness and the Liverpool forward goes in the book.

An anxious few moments for the Toffees as Christiansen looks in some discomfort but she’s back on her feet now, albeit somewhat gingerly.

61 min: Moments later Christiansen is caught again and she immediately glares disapprovingly at Babjide, who committed the foul.

She then whips the free-kick in with a superb cross. The ball bounces around and eventually falls to Egurrola who lashes over the bar.

62 min: SUBS! Everton make a double change as Graham and Boye-Hlorkah make way for Springer and Sorensen.

65 min: Babjide looks like the player who could make something happen for Liverpool. She wins the ball back in the corner of Everton’s half on the right-hand side. She tries to clip a clever ball into Thestrup but Korpela is out to gather,

68 min: SUB! Change for Liverpool as Hodgson comes on for Thestrup. Vicky Jepson rolling the dice here by changing things up in attack. Can it force an equaliser?

Worth noting if this game does end level then we will go straight to penalties. The winner of the shoot-out will get two points, while the loser picks up just one.

69 min: The impetus has just gone out of the game here the last five minutes or so. You get the feeling if Liverpool are not careful that this game will drift towards a 1-0 defeat.

72 min: Do you stick or twist if you’re Willie Kirk? On the one hand you are winning and this game is Liverpool’s to chase. On the other hand, 1-0 is precarious.

Corner to Everton is whipped in but again Liverpool deal with it comfortably.

75 min: It’s such a scrappy game now. All fouls and set pieces.

Christiansen curls another ball in from the wide-left position but it fails to get past the first defender AGAIN. This is infuriating.

If the set piece delivery had been better tonight then this could be 4-4 by now.
