31 min: Corner comes in from Greenwood which is cleared back out to the England full-back. It then goes back into the six-yard box - this time in much more dangerous fashion - but Millie Turner does superbly to hook the ball clear.

32 min: City probe the Manchester United defensive block again before Park lays the ball off for Beckie who strikes from the edge of the box…safely into the arms of Ramsey.

33 min: PENALTY SHOUT? At the other end James scampers down the left and as she cuts inside Gemma Bonner slides to cut her out.

Casey Stoney and the rest of the United bench are up in arms calling for a penalty but on first look that seemed like a perfectly timed challenge.

34 min: Can confirm it was a wonderful challenge from Bonner.

Was also just outside the area. So that couldn’t have been less of a penalty…

35 min: Kelly picks out an unmarked Stanway from a corner but she scuffs her shot into a crowd of players and United clear once more.

After a dominant first 10-15 minutes from the hosts, it’s now all City.

38 min: Heath draws a foul from Morgan in a bid to stop this City pressure.

But the visitors are straight on them again and when the ball is played back by Ramsey the United keeper gets lucky again as Beckie blocks her clearance but the ball spins away for a throw.

The United shotstopper is going to get caught out if she keeps doing that!

41 min: Nearly the same at the other end! Bardsley dallies on the ball and Zelem nicks the ball away from her. She lays it off for Hanson but her shot is straight down the throat of Bardsley.

Blushes spared. Just.

42 min: Both keepers know they can be tackled, don’t they?

43 min: Beckie is fed down that right-hand side again and her cross deflects off Millie Turner and spins away for another corner.

Greenwood swings it in but Millie Turner is there again to rise highest and head away. She has been superb so far.

44 min: DISALLOWED GOAL! A City cross comes in from the right and Beckie heads it on for Stanway to volley first time into the bottom corner. But no, the flag is up. Correct call, but that was some strike.
