78 min: Stanway turns on the afterburners to get to the byline but Batlle is equal to it and slides in to put the ball out for another Manchester City corner.

It’s put into a dangerous area and somehow among a host of legs it cannons off the post! It struck the base of the post so quickly before being cleared.

82 min: You do get a feeling there is a winner in this somewhere. Still a fast pace but a few fouls have broken the game up just a little in the last couple of minutes.

84 min: It’s been a pretty even game but it feels now although if one side is going to win it that it may well be Manchester City again as the tide begins to turn once more.

United have bossed this second half but again they look to be tiring as they did at the end of the first.

85 min: Bronze comes across to cut out Zelem after a long cross-field ball from United. Nobody is getting past the England full-back today. She has been excellent.

87 min: Press does superbly well to slide in between two City shirts and try her luck from the edge of the area but her shot is blocked.

Just three minutes of normal time remaining for either side to break the deadlock.

88 min: CHANCE! Great move from City as White drops deep and feeds it out to Beckie. She slides it inside for Mewis and the American sends a cross into the middle which is cleared away brilliantly inside the six yard box by Millie Turner.

90 min: United break and Press slides Hanson in to the right of the area. Hanson falls to the floor as she looks to get her shot off, but that was clearly a slip.

Penalty shouts aplenty but there as no way that was being given.

90 min: CHANCE! Oh my, that could have been the winner!

Kiera Walsh, who I don’t think we have mentioned once yet, floats a little chipped effort towards the top corner and it bounces onto the top of Ramsey’s net! So close to an audacious winner.

90+2 min: CHANCE! Oh my goodness, that is the best chance of the game!

City lose possession inside their own half and it’s three on two for United. Ella Toone feeds Jess Sigsworth perfectly and she opens up her foot before going for the bottom corner but Bardsley blocks brilliantly with her legs!
