Sheffield United line-up v Aston Villa:

Empty streets

Usually these streets would be filled with thousands of expectant fans.

Instead, tonight they will have to resort to watching from their seats at home. As we’ve all learnt over recent weeks, this is better than no football at all.

IT’S BACK!

Did you miss it?

The Premier League is back TONIGHT! After more than three months of nothing, English football resumes this evening.

There may be no crowds, but we are all still frothing with anticipation regardless.

Less than an hour until the first kick, first up we go to Villa Park as Aston Villa welcome fellow promoted side Sheffield United at 18:00 GMT.

I will be bringing you the key updates from that game as we also look ahead to our featured match from the Etihad Stadium as Manchester City host Arsenal at 20:15 GMT.

And we will be bringing you a one-hour preview show right here from 18:45 in the build-up for that one.

So stay tuned, get your popcorn ready, it’s back.
