Headache And Runny Nose Linked To COVID-19 Delta Variant

A headache, sore throat and runny nose are now the most commonly reported symptoms of COVID-19 in the UK. This change is due to the rise in the number of cases of the Delta variant of COVID-19 in the UK. Professor Tim Spector says that the Delta variant of COVID-19 may feel “more like a bad cold” to young adults. According to Spector, the classic symptoms of COVID-19, cough, fever, and loss of smell or taste, are now less common. Experts are encouraging people, especially young adults, to stay at home and avoid socializing if they feel slightly unwell. People might think they've just got some sort of seasonal cold and they still go out to parties and they might spread around to six other people, Professor Tim Spector, leader of the Zoe Covid Symptom Study.
